A Lifetime Passion for Sustainability in Design & Construction
In pursuit of a lifetime goal, CEO and Founder Brett McKenzie launched Sustainable in April 1994. Brett’s passion for sustainability has always remained grounded in his vision to design and build sustainable homes that complement the Client’s site and work in harmony with the environment.
Entering the Building Industry at a time when the economic climate saw large numbers departing, posed both an enormous challenge and an exciting task to recognise and target a market segment and strata previously untouched. That niche was to develop a specialised, integrated package of ‘Design and Construct’ services to assist Clients and prospects.
Brett and his Sustainable Team offer what few firms in the housing industry do – providing Clients with an invaluable complete solution of sustainable Design, Construction, Landscaping and Project Management. This provides their valuable Clients with security and peace-of-mind during the ‘Design and Construct’ process. Clients know that when they make the decision to build a new home or retrofit their existing house, Sustainable will deliver right from the initial Concept Design through to Construction Completion.
