We are seeking a motivated, organised and reliable person to join our Team part-time as an Administrative Assistant at our head office in Karana Downs (4306).

Sustainable Pty Ltd is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years’ experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across south-east Queensland and northern NSW.
About the Role:
This position requires someone who is passionate about office administration as direct multi-skilled support to the Sustainable® CEO, colleagues and company projects.
General day-to-day duties include (but not limited to):
- Answering and transferring phone calls
- Sending and responding to emails (including shared inbox management)
- Hard copy and digital document filing and archiving
- CEO personal assistance (e.g., booking appointments/meetings, preparing folders, etc.)
- Assist in preparing and formatting proposals, documents, spreadsheets and generating reports
- Liaising with internal and external parties (e.g., suppliers, business partners, Clients, etc.)
- Assisting team members with administrative duties, as required
- Manage office supplies inventory, inventory orders and post-office mail pick-up
- General cleaning and other ad hoc administrative duties, as required
Role Requirements:
- 2+ years of prior experience in a similar role will be looked upon favourably (*MYOB data entry experience would be beneficial, though not required to apply)
- Be available to work normal business hours and a minimum of 24-hours per week
- Must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle / transport (*Please note, there is no public transport near us)
- Someone with a friendly and positive outlook, an organised and self-motivated disposition and a focused willingness to learn and contribute within a small team environment

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organised business administration skills with attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.) and related software / technology
- Capable of working unsupervised and within a small team environment
- Capacity to multitask, handle pressure, work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Passionate commitment to assist and help grow the business
