We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Team full-time as a Business Administration Trainee (Administrative Assistant) at our head office in Karana Downs (4306).
About the role:
While gaining on-the-job experience you will also complete a Certificate III in Business Administration. General day-to-day duties include:
- Answering and transferring phone calls
- Sending and responding to emails (including shared inbox management)
- Hard copy and digital document filing and archiving
- CEO personal assistance (e.g., booking appointments, preparing folders, etc.)
- Assisting team members with administrative duties, as required
- Assist in preparing and formatting documents/spreadsheets and generating reports
- Liaising with internal and external parties (e.g., suppliers, business partners, etc.)
- Manage office supplies inventory, inventory orders and post-office mail pick-up
- General cleaning and other ad hoc administrative duties, as required
Role Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or willing to enrol in a Certificate III in Business Administration
- Be available to work 38-hours per week within normal business hours
- Must have a driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle and/or have reliable transport (*Please note there is no public transport near us) *If you do not have your driver’s license, we require that you have reliable transport every day
- Someone with a friendly and positive outlook and looking for an opportunity to launch their career with a focused willingness to learn and contribute within a team
Learning Qualities and Outcomes we are looking for:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organised business administration skills with attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.) and related software / technology
- Capable of working unsupervised and within a small team environment
- Capacity to handle pressure, work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Passionate commitment to assist and help grow the business
